Exploration mode

Exploration mode allows you to use Mantis tools without creating or loading a saved project. It is intended for quick, ad-hoc calculations where you do not need to persist results to the database.

When to use exploration mode

Use exploration mode when you want to:

• Quickly evaluate elastic properties or fluid scenarios without committing them to a project
• Experiment with rock physics models or reflectivity calculations using one-off parameters
• Compare scenarios interactively without saving results

In exploration mode, all inputs and results are session-only — navigating away from the page will discard them.
